Hi there! My name is Louisa and I'm a stop-motion artist from Mainz, Germany.

After studying Time-Based Media at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz, my lovely project partner Franziska von Holst and I have fully committed ourselves to the 20-minute stop-motion film Raja, overseeing all stages of the work - from concept development, puppet making and set design to animation, financing and post-production.

In addition to Raja, I’ve worked on various projects, including commercials and series productions. My experience ranges from classic puppet animation to mixed media, cut-out and other stop-motion techniques.

I also had the pleasure of teaching courses on experimental stop-motion animation at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz. Additionally, I’ve led workshops for children.

With a strong network of professionals in animation, sound, and post-production, I can oversee projects holistically and adapt flexibly to different requirements.
